There’s truly no one quite like Jeff Goldblum. Instantly recognizable as an icon of contemporary cinema, his charm blends an outsider’s appeal with a touch of brilliance that spans from Jurassic Park to Wicked. Throughout his journey, music has remained a lasting passion, and the last ten years have allowed Jeff Goldblum to dedicate time to this love, culminating in several impressive albums with a top West Coast jazz ensemble he has dubbed the Mildrid Snitzer Orchestra.

The new album ‘Still Blooming’ exemplifies their work – the musicianship is outstanding, the songwriting showcases the best of the Great American Songbook, and Jeff’s warm presence serves as the unifying force that brings it all together. The album features a parade of stars – Ariana Grande showcases her impressive jazz skills on ‘I Don’t Know Why (I Just Do)’, Scarlett Johansson delivers a stylish rendition of ‘The Best Is Yet To Come’, while Maiya Sykes refreshingly interprets ‘Stella By Starlight’.

The band also shines in their performances. ‘Bouncing With Bud’ presents a lively version of the bop era classic, while ‘The Grease Patrol’ swings energetically, reminding us that jazz is fundamentally rooted in dance.

With nine tracks, ‘Still Blooming’ is slightly brief, but there's an age-old showbiz adage suggesting that brevity keeps audiences coming back for more. Following two incredibly entertaining, completely sold-out shows at London’s Palladium, it’s evident that Jeff Goldblum’s jazz pursuits are developing a dedicated following. A self-proclaimed late bloomer, the Hollywood star is championing jazz in the mainstream and enjoying every moment.
