Worn Out Tuesdays' monthly new music celebration is set to return to The Sebright Arms (31-35 Coate Street, East London E2 9AG) on Tuesday, 6th May 2025, with support from Clash Magazine and Marshall Headphones.
This free-entry showcase aims to promote the finest emerging acts across various genres, providing a platform for new artists without putting a strain on your finances during the cost of living crisis.

**NATIVE JAMES**
Native James is an alternative-rap artist from Ipswich, U.K., known for crossing genre boundaries by blending hip-hop, grime, punk, rock, metal, and garage into a unique and captivating sound.
With a powerful mix of raw energy and impactful lyrics, Native James has gained recognition at some of the U.K.'s most famous festivals and events, including the BBC Introducing stage at Reading and Leeds Festival, and has performed as a special guest with Skindred. He made a significant impression at the Reading Festival, initially slated as a solo grime artist but arriving with a full band to energize the alternative scene with a dynamic live show.
He was selected for BBC Radio 1 Xtra’s Touchdown Tour, which highlighted artists from various regions across the U.K., personally chosen by influential grime DJ and broadcaster, DJ Target. Since then, he has attracted the attention of BBC Radio 1's Alyx Holcombe, Daniel P Carter, and Nels Hylton, along with features in Kerrang! Magazine. He has been nominated for a Celebmix Award 2025.
Recently nominated for his first MOBO award for Best Alternative Music Act, he continues to make significant strides, representing Black culture alongside elements of metal and rap to foster inclusivity. From instinct to identity, we are all Native.

**BONES ATE ARFA**
Bones Ate Arfa is a UK three-piece band blending psychedelic street punk and desert rock, consisting of Bones (guitar), 8 (drums), and Arfa (vocals & bass). They were once described as creating “junkyard dog riffs” following their debut single ‘Asbestos’ and have since gained recognition from various artists, including Muse, Fred Durst (Limp Bizkit), Isaac Holman (SOFT PLAY), Royal Blood, Tigercub, cool sorcery, Demob Happy, and Bad Nerves.
Building a respectable social media following, they have been featured and received airplay on Clash Magazine, BBC Radio 6, Radio X, Dork, Earmilk, Louder Than War, and have successfully established a presence on the UK’s southern gig circuit, all within just two years.

**BIG TROUSERS**
Emerging from the depths of the internet, BIG TROUSERS is a new, suit-clad two-piece delivering their genre-defining post-post-punk sound to the masses. They leverage their growing platform to satirize societal issues affecting today’s youth, including alleged questionable tax practices by discount clothing stores, the transport monopoly of big oil, and the existential angst stemming from excessive exposure to deep-fried internet content.
Since their debut, they have garnered attention in the industry by performing at iconic venues like the Windmill (Brixton) and supporting punk acts like Heavy Lungs (Bristol), Alien Chicks (Brixton), and blues rockers The Family Rain (Bath), along with numerous headline performances along the south coast. Consistently, the pair has demonstrated their knack for enthralling audiences and making a memorable impact. As they continue to challenge conventions and push limits, BIG TROUSERS is poised to make a significant impression on the ever-evolving post-punk scene, offering a blend of energetic riffs and insightful social commentary.
