Bloc Party has announced a special edition to celebrate the 20th anniversary of ‘Silent Alarm.’
Having marked the milestone of their groundbreaking debut album earlier this year, Clash delved into the creation of this iconic work – check out our feature HERE.
Reflecting on their influential debut, Bloc Party has revealed plans for an enhanced version of ‘Silent Alarm.’
The 20th anniversary edition is set to be released on September 26th and will include four LPs: the original album; a compilation of 12 B-sides and rarities; their famous 2004 John Peel session for BBC Radio 1; and seven original demos.
This marks the first time that the legendary Peel Sessions and original demos will be available for purchase, providing a more comprehensive view of the significant cultural influence Bloc Party had during that period.
In addition to the box set, the album will also be released in a 2xLP Edition, a 2xCD Edition, and an Amazon Music Exclusive 1xLP Reissue. Pre-orders for all formats are open now.
