Lorde has officially announced her new album titled 'Virgin.'

Lorde has made her much-awaited return, announcing that her anticipated fourth album will be released on June 27th. This album will follow her 2021 release, ‘Solar Power,’ and has been introduced with the lead single ‘What Was That’ from last week—a glitch-pop track that suggests an exciting new musical direction, marked by rough production and clear, direct lyrics. In an Instagram post sharing the official video for the song, Lorde stated: “As little between us as possible. Aliveness over prowess. Naivety over disenchantment. I LOVE YOU WE START HERE.” The complete tracklist for ‘Virgin’ has not yet been disclosed, but you can view the visualizer, which features the New Zealand artist surprising New Yorkers with a performance in Washington Square Park, below.
