Four Tet has announced a performance at London’s Alexandra Palace.
The producer previously held a series of shows at this North London venue—known as the People’s Palace—in 2023, which received enthusiastic acclaim.
Offering an immersive experience through an ambitious audio-visual setup, Clash elevated the performance:
There is a soothing quality to the set, transitioning into a more downtempo, ambient first hour that pays homage to pastoral tracks like ‘Green’ and ‘Romantics,’ a truly stunning highlight of the evening. The space is filled with fluttering harps, bells, and natural sounds, and the powerful acoustics within the venue are remarkable—further enhanced by 360-degree sound engineering. ‘Two Thousand And Seventeen’ is another breathtaking moment that brings all audiences together: it is both disorienting and atmospheric, juxtaposing whooshing sounds with the pure tones of the dulcimer. This experience is nothing short of spiritual, leading into ‘Baby,’ which undoubtedly represents a pivotal moment.
Subsequently released on vinyl, the Alexandra Palace performances have become part of Four Tet's legacy, with another chapter on the horizon this Autumn.
The producer will take the stage at the London venue on November 21st. Ticket pre-sale begins tomorrow (May 7th) at 10am.
