Joey Collins Unveils Ominous Single ‘Is This What We’re Living For?’

      Nottingham artist Joey Collins continues to establish himself as a rock act to watch with the release of his new single ‘Is This What We’re Living For?’

      This introspective track sees Collins posing fundamental questions against an engaging skate rock backdrop – both atmospheric and impactful. “I wanted to create something that evokes intensity and has a cinematic quality,” Collins explains, “something that merges alternative rock with electronic touches to truly take the listener on a journey.”

      Since his debut in 2017, Collins has drawn inspiration from the grand rock anthems of Green Day and Linkin Park, along with the energy and metalcore influences of Bad Omens and Bring Me The Horizon. This single, paired with the more somber and shadowy ‘The World Is On Fire’, showcases a motivated Collins refining a rawer, grittier, and emotionally charged sound.

      Having grown up in Nottingham, Collins has been surrounded by music since a young age. His musical style transcends genres but remains firmly rooted in rock. He has received features on several Spotify editorial playlists and has earned acclaim from influential platforms like BBC Introducing and Tom Robinson on BBC 6 Music.
