South London producer Dom Valentino has unveiled his latest single ‘Magazine’, featuring prominent UK artists Celeste, Jeshi, Fredwave, and Elijah Waters.
An energetic dancefloor anthem, ‘Magazine’ was crafted during a late-night session in Brixton, originating from a voice note sent by Celeste that serves as the track's central hook. Dom then assembled Jeshi, Fredwave, and Elijah Waters, resulting in a vibrant, high-paced expression of collaborative creativity.
“Everyone delivered incredible verses,” Dom comments. “That night, everything came together perfectly. Elijah’s verse wrapped up the session beautifully, and it felt like we had captured something truly special.”
Dom Valentino has steadily emerged as one of the UK’s most in-demand young producers. He has contributed to projects by Greentea Peng, Unknown T, p-rallel, Nia Smith, Ragz Originale, and Deema, as well as a production credit on Skepta’s Mercury Prize-winning album ‘Konnichiwa’.
‘Magazine’ marks Valentino’s first release since last year’s ‘I Am The Black Gold Of The Sun’ and 2023’s ‘Young Folks’, featuring Alfie Templeman and Anna of the North, which has garnered millions of views and significant online attention.
Regardless of working with Mercury Prize winners or emerging talents, Dom’s philosophy remains consistent: honesty, instinct, and creative risk-taking. He adds, “It's amazing to me that I get to collaborate with so many people. Each experience broadens my vision and creative perspective in new ways. It's a mutual journey of learning about one another and oneself, and it’s incredibly addictive.”
To celebrate the single's release, Dom Valentino will host a free pop-up party at The Carpet Shop in Peckham, London on May 29th, featuring performances from Stanza Rel, Daisy Maybe, Just Lil, Fredwave (DJ), Jeshi (DJ), and Dom himself. Tickets can be found HERE.
