Conan Gray's new album ‘Wishbone’ will be released on August 15th, 2025.
The American pop sensation remains consistently inventive, with his third album ‘Found Heaven’ dropping just last summer. It turns out Conan Gray has more in store, as he has tucked away several unreleased tracks, often delving deep into personal themes.
Set to be released on August 15th, the fourth album ‘Wishbone’ is introspective, sincere, and emotive. In a message, Conan Gray shares...
“Over the last two years, I’ve been writing songs in secret. After performances in venue basements, from the comfort of my hotel beds, and during brief moments between tours, I returned home to express all the feelings I thought nobody was interested in hearing—or perhaps even the things I was reluctant to share myself.”
“It felt as though the music was reconnecting me with my identity during a tumultuous time in my twenties when ‘who I am’ didn’t feel defined at all,” Conan adds, “I played the tracks to the very first person I collaborated with, Dan Nigro, and quietly began the recording process. I was uncertain about why I was recording; I just did it. I wasn’t aware of the story I was conveying; I was simply experiencing it. Gradually, I began to see myself more clearly—the aspects of me I had always been yet never acknowledged. The songs I had long been writing but hadn’t sung. Before I realized it, I found myself enveloped by an album. That album is ‘Wishbone’.”
This new record was produced with long-time collaborator Dan Nigro and includes 12 tracks. The lead single ‘This Song’ is scheduled for release on May 30th.
