Westside Cowboy reveals their debut EP titled ‘This Better Be Something Great’ and releases a new single, ‘Alright Alright Alright.’

Westside Cowboy has officially revealed their debut EP, 'This Better Be Something Great', set to be released on 8th August. The band has also released an energetic new single titled 'Alright Alright Alright', which debuted on BBC 6 Music with Huw Stephens. Regarding the new track, the band stated, “This song was the first original piece we ever performed as a group, prior to having any genuine aspirations for the project to be heard by anyone beyond that room. It’s a punk song about a cowboy, and if anyone manages to derive more from it than that, we'll be impressed.” ‘This Better Be Something Great’ was produced entirely by Lewis Whiting, guitarist for the Mercury Prize-winning group English Teacher. Westside Cowboy’s earlier singles, ‘I’ve Never Met Anyone I Thought I Could Really Love (Until I Met You)’ and ‘Shells’, have received significant acclaim and frequent airplay on 6 Music. The band is poised for a big year, having also triumphed in this year's Glastonbury Emerging Talent competition. They will celebrate by performing on the Woodsies stage on Sunday, 29th June at the festival. Their busy agenda will carry on later this year with a tour featuring Blondshell and Black Country, New Road.
