On June 20, 2025, Giggs’ landmark album ‘Let Em Ave It’ will be re-released by XL Recordings in honor of its 15th anniversary.
Initially launched in June 2010, ‘Let Em Ave’ represented Giggs’ breakthrough to a broader audience and established the groundwork for one of the UK rap scene's most unyielding and impactful careers.
Symbolizing hardcore rap from the gritty streets of South London, ‘Let Em Ave’ featured notable tracks such as ‘Look What the Cat Dragged In’, ‘Hustle On’, and ‘Matic’. It was celebrated as a pivotal moment for British rap and a groundbreaking influence on a bolder generation of British MCs.
To highlight its significance as a UK rap classic, ‘Let Em Ave’ will return in a deluxe vinyl version. It will include the original iconic illustrated cover art and can be purchased in either yellow or black vinyl. The double vinyl set also features a bonus disc of classic Giggs anthems from that period, including collaborations with B.o.B., Mike Skinner, Shola Ama, and the era-defining track ‘Talkin The Hardest’.
In the meantime, Giggs has recently released several singles, including ‘11th of May’, ‘Gorgeous’, and ‘SLEEP’, a collaboration with Charlie Sloth featuring Mazza L20. Giggs is now carrying this momentum into live performances with a series of headline shows. Tickets are available here.
The vinyl edition can be pre-ordered here and will be released on September 26th.
