      Roger O’Donnell of The Cure has shared insights about his battle with cancer.

      The musician has been part of the band since 1987, contributing to several iconic albums. Still active with The Cure, Roger O’Donnell was diagnosed with non-Hodgkin lymphoma in 2023 and subsequently underwent chemotherapy and radiotherapy.

      Now in remission, Roger O’Donnell contributed to The Cure’s latest album, ‘Songs Of A Lost World’.

      In partnership with Lymphoma Action, the musician has extensively discussed his cancer journey. His initial diagnosis followed an “exhausting” tour in Autumn 2022. After noticing a lump that he “didn’t think much of,” he decided to get it examined.

      While touring in America, a check revealed that the lump was cancerous.

      His story is both courageous and compelling, filled with humor and personal insights. Roger O’Donnell details his treatment, which included the chemotherapy regimen R-CHOP, methotrexate, and radiotherapy, along with the emotional effects of his diagnosis.
