A unique Bohemian FC kit honoring Oasis has been revealed.
Bohemian FC, the oldest football club in Ireland, is currently a fully fan-owned, non-profit organization. Cherished by fans worldwide, they recently launched a special kit in collaboration with Fontaines D.C., with a significant portion of the proceeds directed to charities in Gaza.
The club's newest initiative is a special kit for their FAI Cup campaign, serving as a tribute to a band with strong Irish ties: Oasis.
Noel and Liam Gallagher spent many summers in Ireland as children, encouraged by their determined mother Peggy to connect with her roots. This proved effective – Noel Gallagher played hurling in his youth, and Oasis has always received exceptional support in Ireland.
There's a prominent Irish influence in the Mancunian lifestyle overall – figures like Johnny Marr and Steve Coogan have Irish ancestry, and it is reported that about one-third of Manchester's population is of Irish descent.
The new kit showcases the legendary Oasis logo in the classic blue colors of Dublin City, embellished with 90s-inspired elements and sublimated chevron patterns, along with white and blue collar and sleeve finishing.
Produced by O’Neill’s Sportswear Ireland, the kit was designed in-house by Bohemian FC in partnership with Oasis.
Available for order now, a brief video promoting the kit has been released – filmed at Cross Guns Snooker Club, Ireland’s oldest family-owned snooker hall since 1958, it features Paul Weller as a snooker hall worker.
Bohemian FC player Jordan Flores and former player Paddy Kirk engage in a game of snooker, accompanied by the Oasis classic ‘Married with Children.’
