Kidwild collaborates with South London's LeoStayTrill on their new single, ‘The Truth’.
Running for an exhilarating two minutes, the two emerging UK rappers exchange verses with purposeful conviction, reflecting on ambition, the strength of individual uniqueness, and forging their own paths by refusing to conform.
‘The Truth’ follows a series of achievements for Kidwild, who recently crafted an exclusive verse for his breakout single ‘Redemption’, featuring Nemzzz, to celebrate Tottenham FC’s progression to the Europa League Semi-Finals.
After being showcased by the rap incubator On The Radar last year, Kidwild released his EP ‘Distro Kid’ at the beginning of this year; a five-track collection that flows between late-night introspection and more candid, hard-hitting content. Addressing themes of mental health, relationships, family, and the challenges that accompany fame, ‘Distro Kid’ encapsulated Kidwild’s raw journey through life’s ups and downs.
Accompanying the new release is a moody visual – a leisurely drive through London’s skyline in a classic Cadillac. Watch below.
