Kneecap, the Belfast band, has announced plans for an extensive series of UK headline concerts this November.
The group has navigated a tumultuous summer, facing backlash from right-wing factions that threatened to derail their career. Comments made onstage by Kneecap’s Mo Chara resurfaced on social media, leading authorities to file terrorism charges against the Northern Irish musician.
However, support from the public has been strong – Kneecap's non-televised performance at Glastonbury drew one of the largest crowds of the weekend, which was live-streamed on TikTok by a woman named Helen.
Looking forward, Kneecap is set to perform at OVO Arena Wembley in London this November, although they are prohibited from promoting the show on the Tube.
Additionally, they have just announced a significant lineup of UK headline concerts. The tour will kick off in Bournemouth on November 14th, with notable stops including Liverpool’s Blackstone Street Warehouse, O2 Academy in Leeds, Sheffield’s Octagon, and Glasgow’s vast OVO Hydro.
Tickets for the November headline concerts will be available for pre-sale at 10am on July 16th, and will go on general sale at 10am on July 18th HERE.
