Philadelphia band They Are Gutting A Body Of Water has announced their new album ‘LOTTO’.
The group recently indicated their comeback with the impactful single ‘american food’, which features a powerful blend of shoegaze-inspired quietLOUDquiet musical elements.
Set to be released on October 17th, the album ‘LOTTO’ marks a continuation of their musical journey. A significant presence in underground American guitar music, They Are Gutting A Body Of Water has evolved into a cohesive quartet, with vocalist Doug Dulgarian collaborating with bassist Emily Lofing, guitarist PJ Carroll, and drummer Ben Opatut.
The album will be available through Julia’s War x Smoking Room x ATO Records and is previewed by the new single ‘trainers’.
This track features a mix of distorted guitar sounds and disquieting spoken word elements, drawing inspiration from artists ranging from early Wednesday to Slint.
