Verses GT, the musical collaboration between Jacques Greene and Nosaj Thing, is set to release their self-titled debut album on September 12th through LUCKYME®.
Verses GT functions as an inter-disciplinary collective, representing a new collaborative era between two innovative producers. Following their initial single ‘Unknown’, they present the ethereal and dynamic track ‘Your Light’ featuring emerging artist George Riley. The ‘Verses GT’ album was created in various cities—London, Los Angeles, Tokyo, Paris, and Montreal at Phillipe’s studio—through a live, real-time process rather than remote collaboration. The project features several collaborators, including George Riley, fellow LUCKYME® artists Kučka and TYSON, along with a creative team comprising photographer-director Xavier Tera, creative director-writer Terence Teh, and artist-designer Erin D. Garcia. Verses GT has crafted a project that transcends boundaries, while also being personal and deliberate.
“It’s been motivating to follow our instincts and take the plunge. It feels especially significant now, after we've each released some solo projects,” shares Nosaj Thing. “I believe trust is the central theme of this project; it’s a true partnership built on a balance of give-and-take,” adds Jacques Greene.
In conjunction with the album release, Verses GT has announced an extensive global tour, with performances scheduled across Europe, North and Central America, and Asia this fall. The tour begins on September 18 in Jacques Greene’s hometown of Montreal, and the duo will headline a concert at EartH in London on October 24. Tickets are available now.
