English artist Georgia has released a new single titled ‘Wanna Play’.

This surprise release marks her first new music in two years and sees Georgia reconnecting with her love for analogue synths. Available now, ‘Wanna Play’ pays homage to her enduring affection for club sounds while also reflecting an appreciation for deeper tracks from Depeche Mode.

Crafted by Georgia, the Mercury-nominated songwriter collaborated with her long-time studio partner Mark Ralph.

This intriguing electro-pop track features production that matches its playful title with its various dips and curves. With an energetic flair, she raises the tempo to delve into her emotions, using this as her starting point.

      Georgia shares...

“I wrote this song during a significant turning point in my life, which is why I kept the tempo at 160bpm! It’s a fast-paced punk-electro song, drawing inspiration from early Knife tracks and 80s Depeche Mode bass lines. It’s all in good fun, really; I wanted to revisit my love for synths!”

      Tune in now.

Georgia will host an intimate event at London’s AnotherLand on July 18th, where she will perform her new live set along with several guest DJs.
