Emerging from the pandemic in an exploratory spirit, the producer is eager to reconnect with his foundational influences from club culture.
Now signed to London Records—which boasts a catalogue featuring key UK rave releases from the 90s onward—Shadow Child has just released new music.
Fueled by breakbeat energy, ‘Say It Now’ is a rave anthem, a club enhancer, and a showcase of intricate digital sounds. It also carries a soulful essence, as Shadow Child maintains a degree of introspection reminiscent of his earlier works.
Available now, this track marks a new phase in his career as Shadow Child revisits the club scene.
He remarks…
‘Say It Now’ serves as a tribute to rave culture and signifies my musical growth. It’s arguably the most euphoric piece I’ve created in years, utilizing production techniques that encapsulate a wide range of my early inspirations from 1991.
While it incorporates contemporary sound elements, it remains genuine and respectful to the original rave period, featuring a sampled voice from the iconic vocalist Bernard Fowler. I am very pleased to release this with London Records.
