      Dan Whitlam has released his new EP ‘Mama Said It’ in its entirety.

      This year, the songwriter has unveiled several singles, including the impressive ‘19’ and his collaboration with Delilah Montagu, ‘Chalk’.

      The new EP, ‘Mama Said It’, is now available and presents a well-rounded, comprehensive project, showcasing Dan's ability to make the most of its concise format.

      The five-track collection features soulful vocals complemented by a variety of production choices, capturing the same charm and creative spirit that recently filled KOKO with fans.

      The title track, ‘Mama Said It’, explores themes of inter-generational support, family connections, and the feminine energy that has influenced Dan’s life. Co-written with the talented Sophie Faith, this song stands out as a highlight.

      He shares his thoughts, saying…

      “I’m really thrilled about this next single ‘Mama Said It’. Co-written with EDBL and Sophie Faith, it’s an upbeat song centered around the ideas of home and comfort. I remember sending the track to Sophie, and she quickly responded with her main melody. Everything just fell into place perfectly…”
