Everyone's beloved country-pop artist CMAT has shared another glimpse of her upcoming third album ‘EURO-COUNTRY’ (set to release on August 29 via AWAL), following the success of her cleverly titled previous singles ‘Running/Planning,’ ‘Take A Sexy Picture Of Me,’ and ‘The Jamie Oliver Petrol Station.’ The latest track is the album's title piece and serves as the true opener, encapsulating three significant themes that run throughout the LP. CMAT elaborates: “I have certain phrases that echo in my mind repeatedly - and EURO-COUNTRY was one of those. It signifies three things for me: the type of country music I create; the fact that Ireland is a European nation operating with the euro; and my belief that capitalism is one of the worst occurrences in our history.” Additionally, ‘EURO-COUNTRY’ has premiered alongside a video that is bound to become iconic, showcasing CMAT at her local shopping center and its water fountain. Take a look and revisit our August 2023 cover story featuring CMAT below.
