Wohran has unveiled his latest single, ‘True Story’.
This quirky and introspective track from the Danish artist addresses the daily challenges encountered in life. Blending elements of vintage hip-hop, indie, and jazz-influenced beats, Wohran provides a preview of his upcoming full-length album ‘Alterity’, set to be released this August.
A tribute to childhood road trips filled with 50 Cent, Eminem, Snoop Dogg, and Dr. Dre, Wohran adds a novel twist to nostalgic themes. Lyrically, ‘True Story’ is enhanced by its diary-style verses, revealing the artist’s inner thoughts through a combination of rap and singing.
Wohran’s latest single marks a new phase for the artist as he shifts focus towards his highly awaited LP. Describing the creative process behind the track, he explains: “It began as me jotting down thoughts, which gradually evolved into lyrics,” he recounts. “When I created the beat, I realized that the lyrics complemented it perfectly, and then I started piecing it together. The lyrics strive for a more positive perspective on what lies ahead and what has happened.”
