Brussels-born artist Shungu formalizes his partnership with Lex Records through the release of ‘Talk To The Mass.’
Now available, this single blends various influences, with Shungu taking the lead. Paying homage to club culture, the producer showcases impressive versatility, hinting at a jazz-like charm with elements of improvisation.
The agile foundation serves as the core of the track, which includes standout appearances from notable artists—hard-hitting lyricist Fly Anakin, UK-based Goya Gumbani, and neo-soul icon Fatima.
This release marks Shungu’s debut since joining Lex Records and comes with a music video directed by Mackai Sharp.

This was my first experience creating a proper music video for one of my songs, making it a significant moment for me, particularly as I'm not at the start of my career. I placed complete trust in Mackai to realize the vision for this inaugural single.
I had an exceptional team for this track, and I wanted to launch with a collaboration involving three artists. On the recording day, Fatima and Goya were there unexpectedly. I was in a session with Frank (Fly Anakin). At one point, around 10 of us were packed into a small studio. The positive aspect was that the energy motivated everyone to elevate their writing.
