Another glimpse of his upcoming album...

Baxter Dury has released his latest single, ‘Schadenfreude’.

The single is now available and serves as the most recent teaser for his forthcoming album, ‘Allbarone’, showcasing this talented lyricist’s creativity.

Set to drop on September 12th through Heavenly Recordings, the album is preceded by this enticing electronic track—a unique blend of French house beats reinterpreted for Baxter’s distinctive style.

      He remarks…

“I had a great time creating Schadenfreude at Paul Epworth’s stunning studio. Once we had the backing track, it was played on loop through these massive custom speakers that resembled Cocaine Daleks. It has a vibrant, optimistic French dance vibe mixed with lyrics from a somewhat overly honest, fragile man. Schadenfreude.”

If the image of “cocaine Daleks” isn’t striking enough, Gareth Bowen is ready to direct the memorable video. Stylish and cinematic, it was developed in collaboration with the London-based studio Blinkink—check it out below.
