The duo's new album is on the way...
Psych-pop duo Gulp has released a new track titled ‘Wildflower’.
The band, which features multi-media artist and musician Lindsey Leven alongside her partner, Guto Pryce from Super Furry Animals, has taken a seven-year break between albums, during which they moved and redefined their artistic vision.
Now residing on the coast of North East Fife, their new album ‘Beneath Strawberry Moons’ will be available through ELK Records on August 29th.
The recently released single ‘Wildflower’ is a charming psych-pop piece, enriched with synth sounds and a sense of longing. As a mid-summer highlight, it reflects themes found throughout the album while focusing on Gulp’s captivating uniqueness.

“The expansive sky we inhabit can be breathtaking at times. This song reflects growth, touching on motherhood and our own little wildflower. Small, yet somehow reaching toward the endless sky.”
‘Wildflower’ comes with a specially created, animated, hand-painted video – developed by Eilidh Nicoll using acrylic and gouache paint over the span of a week.
