Chance The Rapper Declares Release of New Album ‘Star Line’

      Chance The Rapper has announced his upcoming album titled ‘Star Line.’

      The Chicago artist continually challenges both himself and his listeners, resulting in remarkable work. It has been six years since his debut album ‘The Big Day’, but it appears that fans won’t have to wait much longer for new music from Chance.

      The new album ‘Star Line’ is inspired by his travels, with the artist discovering strength and resilience through Black diasporic experiences. Collaborating again with longtime producer DexLvL, the album is influenced by visits to Ghana, Jamaica, and various art fairs globally.

      The album cover – shown above – was designed by Chicago artist Brandon Breaux, who has created visual art for iconic Chance projects like ‘Acid Rap’ and ‘Coloring Book’.

      The two have collaborated for over a decade, with Breaux capturing the essence of ‘Star Line’.

      ‘Star Line’ is available for pre-order at starlinegallery.co, where you can also find the special ‘Star Line’ Shipping Co. merchandise collection. Every item, including the CDs, comes with a built-in NFC chip that unlocks exclusive content from ‘Star Line’.

      Additionally, Chance’s album will be the first NFC CD eligible for BILLBOARD, featuring a ‘tap and play’ option that enables fans to play the CD via Bluetooth.

      The new single ‘Tree’ is currently available, featuring Lil Wayne and Smino; the track incorporates a soulful interpolation of India.Arie’s ‘Video’.
