The K’s are deeply rooted in music. As children, the indie quartet would save their allowance and raid their local record store, picking up albums by The Clash, The Jam, Squeeze, and The Libertines.
What was the name of the store? Kaleidoscope. This led to a teenage project called The Kaleidoscopes, and then eventually… The K’s.
The band from Earlestown saw their debut album soar to the top of the charts upon its release in 2024, delivering a crowd-pleasing experience that reflected their energetic live performances.
Now they're back with a new album, ‘Pretty On The Internet,’ available now through LAB Records. Rumor has it that this album may even surpass their chart-topping debut.
This record pays tribute to their influences, and as luck would have it, one of their early inspirations has reunited.
Indeed, The K’s saved their money and secured tickets to see Oasis perform at Cardiff’s Principality Stadium—the iconic Manchester band's first live show in over 15 years.
It was a joyful success, with the band sharing some photos with Clash, featuring surprise appearances by Danny Dyer and Louis Tomlinson…
‘Pretty On The Internet’ is available now.
