Master Peace has already had an impressive summer (taking the stage at Glastonbury with Franz Ferdinand and AJ Tracey), and it’s only getting more exciting: he has now released his second new single in a month, which is a true hit. Produced by Dan Carey, ‘Shake Me Down’ showcases an electrifying blend of groove-driven dance-punk reminiscent of the style that made LCD Soundsystem famous. This is also the second track from his collaboration with the South London producer, following the release of ‘Harley’ last month. Both songs will receive an official release on 7th August as part of Speedy Wunderground’s Speedy Single Series - pre-orders for the 7” are available here. These new tracks mark Master Peace’s first new material since his debut album ‘How To Make A Master Peace’ came out last April, along with the subsequent EP ‘How To Make A(nuva) Master Peace’ and his Ivor Novello Rising Star win last summer.
