Renowned contemporary composer Max Richter has unveiled his new series titled ‘Songs Of A Jumping Universe’.

This five-part program will be aired on Apple Music Chill, with the goal of showcasing the links between various sources of inspiration in the musician's creations.

Max Richter intends to traverse centuries and continents, discovering new avenues of creativity along the way.

The inaugural episode is already available online, while the complete series will soon be accessible on Apple Music Chill.

“Throughout my show,” Max Richter shares, “I delve into the connections among diverse musical languages, styles, genres, and cultures. I feature music from around the globe—from Renaissance and medieval pieces to electronica, dance tracks, instrumental compositions, and classical pieces—seeking to highlight their interconnections. Music transcends borders, and it can teach us much about the world and the links between seemingly disparate elements.”

In addition, Max Richter will present his ambitious, eight-hour masterpiece ‘SLEEP’ in London this September, marking its first performances in the city since 2017.

The events at Alexandra Palace are scheduled for September 5th and 6th, providing a rare opportunity to experience this unique project in a historic venue.
