Danger Mouse and MorMor team up for their new single ‘Wonder’.
The two have been acquainted for a while, occasionally stopping by the studio to exchange ideas and see what resonates.
With shared influences and common interests, the duo comprehends each other’s perspectives, resulting in fluid songwriting sessions.
It is in this collaborative spirit that the new track ‘Wonder’ was born. Danger Mouse handles the production, crafting a tribute to the vibrant new wave records he listened to during his youth, recontextualized within a soulful framework.
Naturally, his background as a hip-hop producer – as evidenced by his recent collaboration with legendary rapper Black Thought – is evident in the sound.
MorMor provides the vocals, and ‘Wonder’ marks the artist’s first release since his debut album ‘Semblance’ in 2022.

“My connection with Danger Mouse began when he invited me to meet and create music. Occasionally, we would spend time together listening to records or watching films, not necessarily focused on making music – I think we were both exploring if we could discover a common ground to pursue an idea. ‘Wonder’ emerged from that exploration.”
