Just over a week after Hayley Williams unveiled her new solo project, she has released the official video for one of its singles, ‘Ego Death At A Bachelorette Party’. The lo-fi visual follows Williams as she navigates her hometown of Nashville, making her way through a honky-tonk section of Broadway, and eventually arriving at a late-night karaoke bar. This video also marks the directorial debut of her frequent collaborator Zachary Gray and features a cameo from Tennessee politician Justin Jones, the State Representative for District 52. The song is part of her recently launched 17-track project, which debuted last week alongside her new Good Dye Young product, Ego, and is now available on streaming platforms. This project signifies the first full solo release from the Nashville artist since her 2020 debut album, ‘Petals For Armor’, and its 2021 sequel, ‘Flowers For Vases / descansos’. Additionally, she is inviting fans to assist in selecting the tracklist for the physical edition of the project by creating and sharing their ideal playlist. Moreover, she has exciting news this week, as it has been confirmed that she will collaborate with the legendary David Byrne to create the original score for Netflix's upcoming animation of Roald Dahl's classic, The Twits!
