Die Spitz have released a new single titled ‘Pop Punk Anthem (Sorry For The Delay)’.
The band from Austin, Texas, is highly regarded in their hometown, and word of their electrifying live performances has already made waves across the country.
Visiting the UK this summer, Die Spitz delivered a series of amazing headline shows, giving fans a taste of their upcoming debut album ‘Something To Consume’.
Scheduled for release on September 12th through Third Man Records, the new single ‘Pop Punk Anthem (Sorry For The Delay)’ serves as a brilliant tribute to 2000s MTV culture.
The energetic guitars echo influences from Panic! At The Disco to Bullet For My Valentine, but with a bold, DIY twist. The accompanying video highlights this aesthetic, as Die Spitz stylizes their fringes to embody that early 2000s vibe.
“We rely on our freedom—freedom to create what we want, express our ideas, and make the music we desire,” Eleanor Livingston shares. “Whether it's rooted in metal or something softer, regardless of who wrote a song, we all collaborate and contribute. Personally, I don’t have a strong ego or voice, but within this band, each of us can achieve so much more.”
Tune in now.
