For 25 years, fabric has been central to the UK drum & bass scene. Now, Pola & Bryson lead its esteemed FABRICLIVE series in a pivotal moment for their career as they ascend to the forefront of contemporary Drum & Bass.
‘FABRICLIVE presents’ is a new mix and compilation series that pays tribute to the legendary FABRICLIVE series, which ran from 2001 to 2018 and established itself as a key platform for bass music culture in the UK.
Pola & Bryson, a UK-based drum & bass duo, are celebrated for their rich, melodic sound and emotive atmospheres.
“This mix showcases some of the sounds that particularly resonate with us – it’s just one interpretation amongst many in a genre that is constantly evolving. Putting it together was truly a delight.”
“We’ve always been inspired by the diverse flavors and branches that drum & bass has developed into. Whenever we mix, we naturally gravitate towards that diversity, merging contrasting styles in a cohesive manner,” Pola & Bryson shared about the release.
This sentiment holds true for the LP – a compelling, curated collection that embraces nostalgia while pushing the sound forward. The compilation includes ‘Worlds Apart’ featuring Emily Makis, the duo’s exclusive new single, and a long-anticipated follow-up collaboration to 2023’s ‘Phoneline.’
Additional new music comes from Etherwood & Hugh Hardie, Xeonz, Charli Brix, and Molecular, accompanied by a comprehensive mix featuring prominent names in D&B such as Camo & Krooked, Mefjus, and Breakage, alongside emerging talents like IYAMAH, Monrroe, and Thread.
Available in digital format or as a double vinyl LP and digipack CD, the release provides a seamless experience through the duo’s musical landscape, balancing euphoric vocal-led tracks with powerful club anthems.
Designed with DJs, fans, and collectors in mind, the vinyl edition includes eight carefully curated tracks suitable for home or club play, while the extended mix on CD and digital features 29 additional tracks expertly blended by the duo.
‘FABRICLIVE Presents’ Pola & Bryson is now available via fabric Records.
