Shame preview 'Cutthroat' featuring 'Spartak'

      With just a few weeks remaining until the release of their fourth full-length album ‘Cutthroat,’ Shame have chosen to give fans a sneak peek with a new track called ‘Spartak.’ This follows last month’s release of ‘Quiet Life’ and the unveiling of the title track in June along with the announcement of the album. “I was basically trying to write a Wilco song,” explains Sean Coyle-Smith of the band. The video for the song, directed by lead vocalist Charlie Steen, shares his thoughts: “I think my disdain for cliques comes from how badly I was made to feel by the cool kids when I was younger. I was a chubby teen who listened to the 'wrong' music and wore 'wrong' clothes. It's just another chance for me to say fuck you to those people and to anyone who puts someone down for not fitting in.” ‘Cutthroat’ is scheduled for release on September 5th.
