This is not a drill: Radiohead has officially announced a string of live performances. The band took to social media to reveal that they will be playing a series of concerts in five cities across the UK and Europe - Madrid, Bologna, London, Copenhagen, and Berlin - this November and December, which will mark their first live shows since 2018. In an Instagram post detailing their decision to tour again, Radiohead stated: “Last year, we came together to rehearse, just for fun. After a seven-year break, it felt great to play the songs again and reconnect with a musical identity that has deeply resonated with all five of us. It also inspired us to perform some gigs together, so we hope to see you at one of the upcoming dates.” They also noted: “For now, it will only be these shows, but who knows where this might lead.” Radiohead’s most recent studio album, ‘A Moon Shaped Pool’, was released back in 2016. Since then, they have put out several compilation albums and special editions, including this year's live album ‘Hail To The Thief (Live Recordings 2003-2009)’.
