Australian artist Stella Donnelly is set to launch her new album ‘Love And Fortune’ on November 7th.
Her standout 2019 album ‘Beware Of The Dogs’ marked a significant breakout, followed by the well-received 2022 release ‘Flood’.
The Naarm-based, Boorloo-raised musician has recently hinted at her return, with plans to drop a new album later this year.
Collaborating with Brace Yourself Records in the UK, the upcoming album ‘Love And Fortune’ will be available on November 7th. The delightful new single ‘Feel It Change’ showcases her strengths while allowing for growth.
With distinctive tones and unconventional instrumentation, ‘Feel It Change’ addresses the end of a relationship.
She shares...
“I wrote this song on a baritone guitar in my sharehouse shed, using all of my housemate’s overdrive pedals. I think the neighbors started getting annoyed after a while because I lingered on the same chords for ages. The song reflects the process of gradually removing the band-aid from a relationship that was destined to unravel. It captures that stage of a breakup filled with resentment and blame.”
