Happy Mondays have announced plans for a major UK tour next year.
The band is nearing the 35th anniversary of their iconic album 'Pills 'n' Thrills And Bellyaches', and will embark on an extensive 22-date tour in 2026.
Scheduled for March and April 2026, frontman Shaun Ryder and his reliable partner Pez will be joined by Mark Day (guitar), Gary Whelan (drums), Dan Broad (MD/guitar/keys), and Firouzeh Berry (backing vocals).
The tour will commence in Newcastle on March 13th and will traverse the nation. Notable stops include London’s Roundhouse on March 27th and a special show in their hometown at Manchester’s O2 Victoria Warehouse on April 11th.
Special guests The Farm and Northside will also perform, recreating the lineup from Happy Mondays’ famous 1991 concert at Elland Road in Leeds. A venue pre-sale will begin at 9.00 am on Wednesday (September 17th), followed by general sale at 9.00 am on Friday (September 19th), with tickets available at www.alttickets.com and www.happymondaysofficial.co.uk. Shaun Ryder commented: “I’m really excited to hit the road with the Mondays in 2026, especially alongside our old friends The Farm who are joining us on tour.” Bez added: “I’m really looking forward to touring the UK again next year! I love being on the road with the Mondays; there’s no better feeling than performing for live music fans. I can’t wait to see everyone next year.”
