Thundercat is set to return to the UK next year for a major headline tour.
The West Coast artist has been a key figure in driving a generational change in improvisational music, blending jazz, electronics, and hip-hop into a distinctive sound.
He has released two new tracks, each showcasing his unique style. This coincides with an upcoming full UK tour.
Thundercat will kick off his tour on March 25th at the O2 Academy Brixton, before moving on to Manchester, Newcastle, and Bristol.
Tickets will be available soon, allowing fans to enjoy his two new tracks: ‘I Wish I Didn’t Waste Your Time,’ which features emotive alt-soul with dreamy synth elements, and ‘Children Of The Baked Potato,’ a wonderfully surreal collaboration with Remi Wolf.
“She’s [Remi] a child of the Baked Potato like me,” Thundercat says. “She understood precisely what the song needed. Witnessing her bring it to life was impressive. As I listen more, it’s clear there was no one better I could have collaborated with.”
Listen in now.
