Ezra Collective trumpeter Ife Ogunjobi has announced his plans for a new solo EP.
He has played a significant role in the band’s ascent, progressing from youth clubs and small venues to winning a Mercury Prize, securing a BRIT Award, and delivering a standout performance at Glastonbury.
Ife's 2023 debut EP ‘Stay True’ was acclaimed for its range, and he is now ready to focus on his solo work again.

‘Tell Them I’m Here’ centers on the theme of being unapologetically yourself. Everyone has a unique story, and this project conveys mine. I’ve embraced a more fearless approach on this record—venturing into vulnerable areas and exceeding expectations—while still retaining my identity at its essence.
It encapsulates every aspect of who I am: the African influences from my upbringing, the hip-hop and jazz that have shaped me, all interwoven through my distinct sound. This EP is intended for anyone with aspirations or a narrative to share. When faced with doubt, attempts at silencing, or when others are unprepared to accept you—it's crucial to stand firm and declare… I’m Here.
