The Great Escape announces lineup for the inaugural First Fifty festival in 2026.

      The Great Escape Festival has announced it will once again take over East London this Autumn for its First Fifty launch: a set of concerts on 13th November across eight distinct venues, showcasing a variety of exciting emerging talent scheduled to perform at TGE 2026. This event will mark the beginning of the countdown to next May’s annual celebration of new music. This year's First Fifty showcases will occur at MOTH Club, Folklore, Oslo, Paper Dress Vintage, Sebright Arms, The Victoria, along with newcomers The George Tavern and The Jago. Additionally, DIY will have a presence under MOTH’s iconic gold ceiling for the evening, featuring three of the lineup’s most talked-about acts: Liverpool pop sensation Girl Group, Parisian multi-talented artist Max Baby, and rising Irish indie star Annie-Dog. You can purchase presale tickets for DIY’s First Fifty showcase here, while tickets for all eight First Fifty shows will go on general sale at 10am on Friday 19th September here. The Great Escape 2026 is scheduled to take place from 13th-16th May at various venues in Brighton.
