Kasabian performed a small show in London last night (September 23rd) at the Finsbury.
This pub in North London is just a short distance from Manor House station and located near Finsbury Park. On the same day, Kasabian announced plans for a massive outdoor concert at Finsbury Park, featuring an impressive lineup of supporting acts.
With their new single ‘Hippie Sunshine’ released, Kasabian revealed plans for an intimate semi-acoustic performance.
Approximately 150 fans gathered at the Finsbury to witness the event, which was live-streamed globally through the band's Facebook page.
Football icon Sean Dyche was present, along with Louis Dunford – who is set to support Kasabian at their major Finsbury Park concert in 2026.
The band kicked off with ‘G.O.A.T.’, quickly transitioning into a series of classic hits like ‘Club Foot’ and ‘Underdog’. The semi-acoustic arrangement highlighted surprising aspects of the songs, with ‘L.S.F.’ reimagined in a Byrds-inspired style.
Frontman Serge Pizzorno briefly forgot the lyrics to the crowd-pleaser ‘Fire’, which elicited laughter from his fellow band members.
To wrap up the show, Kasabian played their new single ‘Hippie Sunshine’ over the speakers while Serge jumped into the crowd, igniting a lively mosh pit.
The live stream remains available on Kasabian’s Facebook page – be sure to check it out below.
Kasabian will perform at Finsbury Park, London on July 4th.
