Mains Saison 3

Blending rave nostalgia with punk-infused splendor, Skepta immerses himself in the realm of Eurotrash for his third runway presentation.

On September 22, 2025, at the crossroads of British music, fashion, and art, Joseph Adenuga's drive to create is unmistakably vibrant. In 2017, the British-Nigerian artist made his mark by introducing MAINS, a powerful endeavor to unite streetwear and luxury. Now in its third season, the self-styled director, along with chief designer Mikey Pierce, is refining their strategy, drawing from a renewed array of influences that delve deeper into Adenuga's creative vision.

For MAINS Season 3, fashion week aficionados are led into an East London side street, mingling with grime luminaries and emerging trendsetters. The entrance to the show is adorned with evocative velours, rave posters, and illuminated traffic cones, accompanied by a steady stream of UK Garage classics and impactful conversations. This event provides Skepta an opportunity to connect his experiences growing up in Tottenham with the youth culture of the early 2000s and a longstanding desire for high-end fashion. The collection offers a modern twist on Eurotrash, the 90s television programme hosted by Jean-Paul Gaultier and Antoine de Caunes that served as a fun and risqué introduction to the runway for Skepta himself.

From the beginning, MAINS embraces stark contrasts—Beano-inspired color schemes dominate the season's designs, infusing a fierce, rebellious spirit. Glossy leathers and knee-high socks add a sleek touch to the lineup, featuring a vibrant cast that includes Chy Cartier, Jacqueline Ezeuko, ThaFirst, and Qaher Harshash, while the use of Kickers hints at a nostalgic back-to-school vibe. The collection also exudes a playful spirit, incorporating acid house smileys, integrated cigarette packets, dynamic bow-ties, and David Bowie patches, creating a melange of references that evoke raw grit and nostalgia. A playful OOP! slogan enhances the show's personality, possibly referencing Skepta's well-known fondness for counterfeit Gucci, while a Ribena-themed varsity jacket introduces a whimsical charm to the event.

MAINS Season 3 wraps up as an intense reflection. Aiming for the brand's most robust work to date, Skepta looked inward and made bold choices, inviting the audience to experience British history through his perspective.
