His workshop focused on innovative skills for the music industry...
Tom Misch has launched applications for his Wildflower project.
Initiated last year, the project aims to offer free workshops and masterclasses featuring Tom Misch alongside a variety of guest artists.
Wildflower presents a creative approach to support emerging artists, allowing voices from across the UK to participate. Guest sessions included notable figures like Jordan Rakei, Laura Misch, and Joseph Hartwell Jones, among others.
Tom Misch collaborates with Isaac Westmore on this project, and applications for this year's Wildflower program are now open. Artists from all over the UK are encouraged to reach out, with provisions available for subsidizing travel and accommodation. However, participants must provide their own laptop, and having intermediate to advanced knowledge of a DAW (like Logic Pro or Ableton Live) is crucial.
Isaac comments, "I believe that sharing knowledge and ideas in a face-to-face setting is extremely significant. Music is fundamentally about connection, and fostering that in an immersive and supportive atmosphere is a duty we all share, especially in a world that is increasingly digital. That’s the core motivation behind Wildflower."
