Blawan has released his new single ‘Rabbit Hole’ in its entirety.
The producer is a highly influential figure in UK dance music, with his abrupt, low-end heavy interpretation of techno leaving a lasting impact. Blawan’s robust sound approaches industrial music, while his experimental touch ensures that each project stands on its own.
His new album ‘Sickelixir’ will be released on October 10th through XL Recordings, building on his recent series of EPs – ‘BouQ’, ‘Dismantled Into Juice’, and ‘Woke Up Right Handed’.
Blawan is set to perform at London’s Village Underground on the day of the album’s launch, and he has also unveiled the trippy new track ‘Rabbit Hole’.
This powerful electronic piece distorts club conventions to their limits, with Blawan’s playful style taken to hallucinogenic extremes.
The vocals create a blurred duet, featuring Blawan’s own voice along with contributions from Montsera Black.
