The New Condition has released a new single titled ‘Maybe’.
Offering a glimpse into the Australian-born talent, Fletcher Moules is reviving the essence of synth-pop. The track is a nostalgic piece, driven by its memorable hook and showcasing the artist's best vocal performance to date.
Recognized as an Emmy-nominated director, The New Condition brings his artistic vision to the track's visuals by utilizing Google’s Flor Veo3 AI platform. He combines lush, otherworldly landscapes, boldly experimenting with advanced technologies through ethical means.
This marks a strong return to The New Condition's musical roots, reflecting on his time in bands during his youth. Regarding the release, he states: “I composed the melody for ‘Maybe’ two decades ago. I never anticipated still humming it in 2025, but it's that type of tune that you find yourself singing unconsciously, it follows you through various stages of life. It carries a bittersweet quality that I’ve always cherished. The kind that persists – a blend of dream and memory.” He adds, “When it finally came time to record the track, I knew Mark Saunders needed to be involved. With his involvement, the song transformed into what it was always meant to be. Maybe ‘Maybe’ was simply waiting for the right moment to be shared with the world.”
