The LA-based group Rio Kosta is set to perform two shows in the UK later this year.
The psych-pop band weaves together rich soundscapes with comforting rhythms, creating a laid-back yet vividly captivating sound. Their debut album ‘UNICORN’ is now available, reminiscent of the early sounds of MGMT and the more recent work of Jungle.
Echoing the blissful vibes of Khruangbin, Rio Kosta’s live performances allow their music to evolve, discovering new tonalities along the way.
Looking forward, Rio Kosta will arrive in the UK for a couple of headline performances. They will play at London’s Lower Third on December 8th, followed by a show at Manchester’s YES (basement) on December 10th.
