Swedish producer HNNY has released his new EP titled ‘Close’ in its entirety.
The electronic artist, whose real name is Johan Cederberg, first made his debut in 2011 with Studio Barnhus and has since created a distinctive catalog marked by a strong sense of identity.
The new EP ‘Close’ showcases HNNY’s embrace of warm, expansive, lush tones, with his house-inspired sounds grounded in familial happiness.
His creative process is shaped by his responsibilities as a parent, resulting in an EP that is compact and cohesive, where each note is intricately linked to the next.
HNNY’s latest work takes listeners on a soothing auditory journey. He reflects on this by saying…
“My life is quite straightforward at the moment: I drop my kids off at preschool, then head to the studio, which is in my garden, and create music until 5. Occasionally, I take a walk around the neighborhood, and I spend my weekends with family and friends. I aimed to produce music that reflects all of these experiences.”
