"I can only express how truly sorry I am..."
CMAT has postponed her upcoming UK tour due to intense pain from her wisdom teeth.
The Irish artist is currently experiencing a wave of success, having had a summer filled with remarkable festival performances and a Mercury nomination for her album ‘Euro-Country’.
She was set to kick off her UK tour at London’s O2 Academy Brixton this week, but an urgent dental visit has necessitated a delay in the dates.
In a message to her fans, CMAT shared that the extreme discomfort prevented her from performing, and the shows will be rescheduled.
“I can’t even open my mouth wide enough to laugh, let alone sing,” she stated.
“I understand that this will create problems for many of you who had arranged to travel for these dates,” CMAT continued. “And for that, I can only say I am so so sorry.”

The singer will have both lower wisdom teeth extracted as soon as possible, followed by a recovery period of two weeks.
The Irish star is unable to “chew any food” and is struggling to “think clearly” because of the pain, repeatedly apologizing to her fans in the message.
CMAT’s scheduled performances in Manchester, Glasgow, Leeds, Newcastle, and Glasgow will be rescheduled as soon as possible.
