It revolves around conflicting relationships with their bodies...
Oklou and FKA twigs collaborate on a new track titled ‘viscus.’
Avant-pop artist Oklou released her remarkable album ‘Choke Enough’ earlier this year, which was quickly celebrated by critics as one of the standout albums of 2025.
Since then, she has taken some time off in Pau, France to embrace motherhood, allowing herself space before embarking on a tour in November.
Oklou is set to perform at a sold-out show at London’s Roundhouse and will release the expanded version of her album ‘Choke Enough Deluxe’ on October 30th.
The new track ‘viscus’ was hinted at during a recent interview with High Snobiety, showcasing Oklou blending her art with the influence of British innovator FKA twigs.
The two artists connected over their experiences with stomach pain, and their often conflicting relationships with their bodies fuel this new offering.
“I really delve into various sources of anxiety and discuss my body as a struggle,” Oklou shares.
