Cat Burns has released a new single titled ‘Please Don’t Hate Me.’
The UK songwriter is a unique talent and is currently focused on crafting her next chapter. Her new album ‘How To Be Human’ is set to be released on October 31st, following her recent single ‘All This Love’, and the sapphic tribute ‘GIRLS!’.
While experiencing significant attention on Celebrity Traitors, Cat has taken a moment to share something new. ‘Please Don’t Hate Me’ is a heartfelt song filled with genuine emotions, showcasing Cat Burns in a vulnerable state.
This song offers a nuanced and mature reflection, embracing honesty and hinting at broader themes present in the forthcoming album.
Regarding her upcoming album, Cat remarks:
‘How To Be Human’ reflects on the past year of my life. I faced the loss of a loved one and my first heartbreak at the same time, and I truly had no idea how to navigate that experience. Creating this album was my introspective and neurodivergent method of dealing with heartbreak and the passing of my beloved Grandad – it’s become my comfort album.
Throughout the process, I recognized how many people it could resonate with. I understand that many are undergoing similar hardships, and I hope it offers them solace and demonstrates how to regain strength.
