Guernsey-born electronic music producer Mura Masa has released his new EP ‘Curve +1’, now available through his own label Pond Recordings.

This 4-track EP features earlier singles ‘I’m Really Hot (For Myself)’ and ‘JUMP’, along with two new tracks that further delve into Mura Masa’s exploration of the energy inherent in the club experience.

The highlight of the release is the new single ‘Handsup’, accompanied by a video directed by long-time collaborators The Reids. The visuals depict the intimacy and connection on the dancefloor through a tactile perspective, showcasing fleeting moments at house parties—hands reaching, touching, pouring, and holding.

‘Curve +1’ comes after Mura Masa’s praised album ‘Curve 1’, reflecting his refreshed approach to functional club music. Freed from the constraints of major label demands, ‘Curve +1’ showcases Mura Masa exercising complete creative freedom: digging through records, flipping samples, and blurring the lines between underground and mainstream.

This release marks a new chapter for the producer, who has established his own label, creative hub, and arts space, The Pond, in Peckham. Officially opening next year, it will serve as a base for emerging artists and like-minded creatives.

      Tune in now.
